Despite challenges from deindustrialization, Beaver Falls continues to celebrate its heritage while looking towards revitalization. Our focus is on fostering a sense of belonging—not just by revitalizing physical spaces, but by creating environments where the community feels proud, engaged, and supported.

The Beaver Falls revitalization project will introduce initiatives for community engagement through urban interventions that foster partnership between College Hill and the Downtown area, bridging the social, economic, and cultural divides rooted in their community’s history.

The project will establish Beaver Falls as a talent attraction and retention catalyst through a diverse local economy generated by education- and business-oriented development, which will be supported by a vibrant public realm design. We hope both short-term and long-term interventions will bring vibrancy and investment into the community and it could be the first step towards steady economic, cultural, and urban growth in Beaver Falls. With careful planning and collaborative action, we aim to create spaces that empower residents to feel proud of where they live and to see themselves as essential contributors to their community’s story.
