Transitional Housing
Boyle Heights, California
CCA
Transitional Housing provides temporary housing, and resources that are located within the premises of the building, to those who are experiencing housing insecurity as well as homelessness.
The housing is located in the outskirts of Boyle Heights that houses the under-served communities, especially low-income families and single mothers who have experienced trauma.
Families and single mothers require more effort to maintain their livelihoods, therefore, have more risk to be living on the streets and are in need of a supportive environment. The intention proposed with transitional housing is to build upon a collective community to create a congregation of likelihood with connections and a network between people of similar circumstances for reliability and stability within each other.
